Goals of the Evangelism Team
As representatives of Prince of Peace, our goal at the Viera East Farmer’s Market is to share the love of Christ with our community through conversation, prayer, and invitation. Our approach to evangelism is relational—we seek to connect with people where they are, offering a welcoming presence and a listening ear.

Important Times and Details
1. Setup (30-45 minutes before start)
- Arrive Early – Meet at the church and help load supplies and materials into volunteer vehicles. Transport items to the market.
- Set Up Table & Materials – Transfer everything from vehicles to the assigned area of the park. Set up tent, tables, chairs and materials
- Pray as a Team – Dedicate the time to God, asking for open hearts and divine appointments.
- Engage with a Warm Smile – Greet people as they walk by, offering invitations to church and events.
- Be Ready to Listen – Allow people to share their stories and struggles, showing Christ’s love through active listening.
- Offer Prayer – If someone expresses a need, ask if they’d like prayer right then and there. Keep prayers short, uplifting, and Christ-centered.
- Invite to Church or Small Group – Hand out any flyers or invitations that invite further connections to the church.
- Pack Up Efficiently – Gather materials, dispose of trash, and leave the area cleaner than you found it.
- Load up volunteer vehicles with all supplies and return to the church.
- Reflect & Share Stories – Gather as a team for a quick recap, sharing any meaningful conversations or encounters.
- Follow Up – If contact information was collected, assign follow-ups for prayer requests or church invitations.

- Approach each interaction with love, humility, and a genuine desire to share Christ.
- Be prepared to listen as much as you speak, valuing every person’s story and background.
- Offer prayer when appropriate, demonstrating care and compassion.
- Represent Christ and Prince of Peace with kindness, patience, and gentleness.
- Respect personal boundaries; evangelism should be an invitation, not pressure.
- Engage in conversations with humility, avoiding arguments or debates.
- Work together as a team, encouraging and praying for one another.
- Be flexible and willing to step into different roles as needed.
- Support the overall mission of Prince of Peace by inviting people to worship and church events.
