Welcome to the Prince of Peace Band
On this page, you'll find an overview of the Band's responsibilities and a contact form to reach out to us!
Goals of the Band
The Prince of Peace Band is dedicated to leading the 11:00 AM service in spirit-filled worship with modern music. Furthermore, the Band collaborates occasionally with the 9:00 AM service musicians to provide a full, quality sound during our combined worship services. We are passionate about mentoring the next generation of musicians and using our gifts to inspire and uplift others.

General Expectations of the Band
The Band rehearses every Thursday evening from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM, as well as on Sunday mornings before service from 10:15 AM - 10:45 AM (service begins at 11:00 AM). Band members are expected to check their emails and Planning Center accounts to stay up to date with the weekly worship set lists. They are also expected to practice the music on their own at home prior to meeting on Thursday afternoon.

Rehearsal Times
The band rehearses on Thursday evenings from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM, as well as on Sunday mornings before service from 10:15 AM - 10:45 AM. On Sundays when we have our combined worship services at 10:00 AM, rehearsals will run from 8:45 AM - 10:45 AM. Rehearsals for worship nights and other midweek services may vary.
A Heart To Serve
Being part of the band means having a heart to serve God and His people. Worship is not about performance; it’s about leading others into God’s presence. We come with humility, knowing that our gifts are given to us to glorify Him. This heart of service should be reflected not only in our music but also in how we treat one another.
A Humble & Teachable Spirit
Being part of the Prince of Peace Band means embracing both a willingness to follow direction and have a collaborative spirit. Band members should trust the worship leader’s guidance, be able to respond well to feedback, and remain flexible in rehearsals and services. At the same time, they are encouraged to contribute ideas respectfully, offering suggestions to help enrich our sound. A teachable and servant-hearted attitude ensures that every contribution—whether following direction or offering input—serves to glorify God and uplift the congregation.
