Elementary: John Baptizes Jesus
John calls God’s people to repent because the Kingdom of heaven is near. Jesus doesn’t need to repent because He’s God’a perfect and sinless Son, but he is baptized to fulfill all righteousness.

Nursery: Simon and His Boat
Jesus reveals He has God’s power and authority. He calls the disciples to follow Him.

Catechism Question:
Who is the Son? Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the eternal Word, the second person of the Holy Trinity. He took on human flesh to be the Savior and Redeemer of the world.
