A Call to Follow: Luke 5:1-11
Friday: Called to Follow Jesus
Reading: Luke 5:1-11
Have you ever felt unworthy of God’s call? When Jesus called Simon Peter, the fisherman was overwhelmed by his own sinfulness. Yet, Jesus did not turn away from him. Instead, He invited Peter to follow Him and become a “fisher of men.”
This passage marks a turning point in Peter’s life. After witnessing the miraculous catch of fish, he realized he was in the presence of someone far greater than himself. But instead of rejecting him, Jesus invited him into His mission. The same call extends to us—Jesus does not wait for us to be perfect; He calls us as we are and transforms us along the way.

Transform Our Heart Through Prayer
Lord, I am not worthy, yet You call me to follow You. Thank You for Your grace. Holy Spirit, give me the courage to follow You wholeheartedly and to bring others into Your kingdom.
